What does USPS "Available for Pickup" mean?
The package cannot be delivered and is waiting at your Post Office — a redelivery cannot be scheduled.
What it means
USPS is explicit that this package cannot be delivered and that a redelivery cannot be scheduled for it. Collecting it in person is the only route.
On Hold for Pickup items USPS returns the item to sender if it is not collected within 15 days, or 5 days for Priority Mail Express.
Should I worry?
Yes. Redelivery is not an option on this status, so it sits until you collect it or it goes back.
What you can do now
- Collect it from the Post Office named in the tracking, with photo ID.
- Do not wait for a redelivery — USPS says one cannot be scheduled.
- Check the Post Office hours before travelling.
